UN International Day of Peace

In 1981, the United Nations established the International Day of Peace on September 21 as an annual observance of global non-violence and ceasefire. People all over the world honour peace in various ways on this day.

Ediths första möte för biennium 2008-2010

Edith Andresen ledde sitt första möte som klubbens president för biennium 2008-2010 den 3 september 2008. Kvällen inleddes med den sedvanliga middagen, följd av årsmöte med mycket intressanta diskussioner om så väl internationella som lokala angelägenheter. Edith tackade föregående President Annika Bränström och alla avgående styrelsemedlemmar. Lena Norberg och Eva Samuelson avslutade kvällen med var sitt korta egoföredrag.
